Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce announces theme for Fall Festival will be “Mardi Gras - Fountain Valley Style”

The Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce announced this week that plans are underway for the 41st Annual Fall Festival to be held Labor Day, September 6. The theme for the event and parade will be “Mardi Gras - Fountain Valley Style.”
The Fall Festival committee feels this will be a theme that everyone can work into a float and for delcorating booths at Metcalf Park,” said Chairperson Lorene Moore. “It should be colorful and fun.”
Moore also said that the chamber is now welcoming nominations for Grand Marshal for the Fall Festival Parade. If you would like to nominate someone you feel is deserving of this honor, send nominations to FVCC, P.O. Box 201, Fountain, CO 80817. Nominations need to include a background on the nominee, and why you feel they deserve the honor. The Parade Marshal will be selected by June 1.
