Knights of Columbus #4636 Donates $200,000 to St. Dominic Catholic Church

Knights of Columbus Council # 4636, Security, recently donated $200,000 to St. Dominic Catholic Church toward the construction of the new church currently being built on land donated by the late Nick Venetucci and his wife, Bambi. Father Bill Carmody, pastor of St. Dominic, thanked the Knights and said the donation gave him the ability to borrow the money needed to complete the church and allowed him to add the church tower and choir room, which was not part of the original contract. The church will have a capacity of 1,500 persons and is expected to be dedicated on or about March 16.
