Rep. Looper holds town hall meeting

On Wed. June 27, State Rep. Marsha Looper shared time with citizens at a Town Hall meeting at Fountain City Hall.
Looper reported she was successful in passing a Resolution of Support for the Pikes Peak National Cemetery, a bill to allow for disclosure of water supply for any residential sale, thus preventing developers from selling homes with shallow or nearly dry wells without disclosing the information to buyers.
In addition, Looper succeeded with her bill to prohibit specific metropolitan districts from exercising the power of eminent domain.
For next session Looper will continue to pursue proposals to protect private property and water rights.
