Fountain Valley / El Paso County Advertiser and News is proud to name Officer Daniel Anthony Honorary Father of the Year for 2007.
Anthony, a member of the Fountain Police Department, is a typical, clean-cut young patrol officer, athletic, upstanding and constantly vigilant.

4th of July drawing, writing contest begins
The Fountain Valley News / El Paso County Advertiser and News, in conjunction with the Security Fire Department, is holding a coloring and writinga contest for kids in the Fountain Valley. The contest will have a 4th of July theme.
All entries will be displayed at the Security Fire Department during the 4th of July Community Breakfast. The winning entries will also be published in the Fountain Valley News’ 4th of July Special Section, which will come out on June 27.
Entry forms can be found here. Print out the form and turn it in to Fountain Valley News, 120 E. Ohio Ave., Fountain, CO 80817, or drop off the completed form at the same address.
