Donald E. Christian
October 9, 1932 - April 30, 2007
Donald E. Christian was born on October 9, 1932 in Petersburg, Illinois, to Mike and Hazel Christian. He passed away on April 30, 2007.

He joined the United States Air Force on January 4, 1951 and served until October 8, 1954 with HQ Fighter Bomber Group. He served in the Korean campaign and received the Korea Service medal and was lifetime member of the VFW Post #6461along with The American Legion Post #38.

Christian was affiliated with the World Society, Humane Society of the United States, World Wildlife Fund of Washington, and The Southern Plains Company of Colorado.

Donald was the former owner of The Christian Ranch and was the current owner of Riverside Trailer Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Barbara Ann Hopper; and an uncle, Martin Christian.

He is survived by his daughter Marielyn (and Larry) Wilson of Pueblo; grandchildren, Jacqulyn Wilson, Sophia Aragon (Seferrino) Larry Wilson, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren, all of Pueblo; his Uncle Gene and Aunt LaVonne Ray; and also his long-time partner Jo Shin.

Christian is also survived by numerous family and friends. The family extends special thanks for the wonderful and loving care given by Marlys Brinklow.
Donnie loved to hear jokes and tell a good one in return. He always liked to see people laugh and be happy. He will be sadly missed and loved by many.
Visitation will be Thurs., May 3, 2007, from 4-6 p.m. at Dove Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Hwy. 85-87, Fountain.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 4, at 10 a.m. Dove Witt Family Mortuary. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Fountain, CO.
