OBITUARIES

Jerry Eugene Pischer of Fountain, Colorado Died at the age of 73 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado May 20, 2008.

He was born August 15, 1934 in Washington, Kansas, Son of William & Mollie Pischer.

He was married to Shirley Jean Hardy June 20, 1954 at Washington Christian Church.
Jerry worked in the lumber business since 1955 and more recently with Adessa Auto Auction.
He was a prominent member of Hanover Community Church in Hanover, CO.
He is survived by Two Daughters, Lori Brazil (husband Tony) of Fountain, CO
Paula Humiston (husband Tom) of Hanover, CO
Grandchildren Casey, Billy, Sherri, Holly, and Tyrel a Great Granddaughter, Avalynn Brazil
and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry is proceeded in death by his wife of 52 years Shirley Pischer his parents William & Mollie Pischer, four sisters
Naomi Pischer, Genora Trussell, Irene Clemens, Harriett Clemens and one brother William Pischer.
Memorial Service will be held on May 31st at 4:00 pm at Hanover Community Church 17480 South Peyton Hwy.

David Ransom, 76, a Fountain resident since 1965 passed away on May 25, 2008 at Memorial Hospital.  David was born on January 12, 1932 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin to Walter and Elise (Fay) Ransom.  After serving with the 82nd Airborne Division and in the Korean War, David worked as a Boilermaker. 

He is survived by his children, Steve and Georgie Ransom, Ricky Ransom, Jeffery and Judy Ransom, Richard Ransom, Anna Ransom, Barbara and Tony Selvage and Billie Ransom; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 4-7PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Highway 85/87, Fountain.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 10AM at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 757 S. Santa Fe, Fountain.  David loved animals and hunting.  He will never be forgotten by his family and friends.
