Sadie F. Flynt

Sadie F. Flynt, 79, of Security passed away on April 22, 2007.

She was born April 28, 1927 in Alexander City, Alabama to R.N. and Evie (Smith) Funderburk.

On March 13, 1974 Sadie married Lawrence J. Flynt in Tulla Falls, SC.

After retiring as a beautician, Sadie and Lawrence moved to the Security area where they have resided for the last two years.

Sadie is survived by her sons, Corwin E. Mask and Hosey E. Mask; her daughter-in-law, Clara A. Mask; her granddaughter, Tabitha K. Iversen; and her grandsons, Brian E. Mask and William C. Mask.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Private family services were planned.

Carroll “John” Collier

Carroll “John” Collier, age 82, passed away on April 17, 2007.

He was retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant after more than 21 years of service and from Sears after 22 years of employment.

John was born July 7, 1924 in Derby, Virginia and was one of five children born to Charley and Rosa (Strong) Collier.

He entered the military at a very young age and was a veteran of World War II. During his years of active duty he earned the Good Conduct Medal with one Silver Clip and the AFLSA with four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters.

John married Lorraine K. Baker on December 5, 1953 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and together they raised three children.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his son, Chad (Jeanne); his daughters, Sandra and Theresa; his grandchildren, Michael Collier and Kelly Collier; his brothers, Robert and Ralph; and his sister, Jeanette Wright.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Webb.

Visitation was April 20. Funeral services were April 21, at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel, 6630 S. Hwy. 85/87, Fountain.

John enjoyed his family and friends that he met on his walks around the neighborhood and his trips to the fitness center. The family would like to acknowledge a special thanks to all close friends and neighbors for their overwhelming support.

Terry Lee Wilson
Terry Lee Wilson was born on June 28, 1953 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 1958 he moved to Colorado Springs. He went to high school at Palmer.

He married Mary Elizabeth Rubly on August 4, 1985 in Colorado.

He worked many good paying jobs to support his wife and four children. He was a great father and a kind man to all. Terry was a great fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He loved to fish and watch Pro Wrestling.

Terry will be deeply missed and loved for all eternity.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, David, Christopher, Laura and Terry, Jr.; granddaughter, Emerald; parents, Laura and Clarence Wilson; sister, Cherry Griffith; and his brothers, Steve, Patrick, Randy and Thomas Mowry.

Memorial services were April 24, at Sunnyside Christian Church, Colorado Springs.
